Description

CapMetro is hiring a Program/Project Manager III, Operations Initiatives to manage complex projects, programs, and initiatives supporting its capital improvement, operational expenditure, and strategic objectives. The role leads cross-functional teams, develops project and program deliverables, manages budgets, schedules, risks, procurement, resources, reporting, and documentation, and conducts field work. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, six years of project and program leadership experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and generally encourages PMP certification. The position is hybrid, with onsite work generally expected 8 to 12 days per month, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in project management, information technology, public administration, or a related subject area; up to four years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
Required Previous Experiences: Six years of experience leading cross-functional projects and/or programs from initiation through completion, including planning, budgeting, procurement, resource management, and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree may substitute for two years of work experience.
PMP certification from the Institute of Project Management Professionals.
Experience using Planview for project scheduling, resource assignment, progress tracking, and workload analysis.
Familiarity with transit, public sector, technology, or construction projects.
