Description
The role manages direct-material supply chain activities for an automotive product line, including supplier assessment and development, sourcing and launch planning, BOM cost tracking, quality and delivery performance, cost-improvement programs, category strategy, and escalation of cost or program risks. It requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a similar field, at least five years of automotive purchasing, program management, or advanced quality planning experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel. The position offers hybrid work with at least 47 remote days per year and private health care through Signal Iduna.
