Description
The Program Specialist III provides complex consultative services and technical assistance for the Eligible Training Providers department at the Texas Workforce Commission. The role reviews statutes, rules, and policies; conducts research and program assessments; analyzes procedures and information systems; prepares the ETPL; and serves as a liaison to boards, training providers, the public, and other agencies. It requires one year and six months of relevant public- or private-agency experience, with TWC Program Specialist II or Program Supervisor II experience accepted as an alternative qualification. The position is based in Austin, offers a monthly salary of $4,473.73 to $4,723.73, and may involve up to 25% travel within Texas.
