The Program Specialist II provides moderately complex consultative and technical assistance for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and Trade Adjustment Assistance programs. The role includes data entry of layoff and WARN notices, research and training, policy and procedure support, employer and employee inquiries, documentation, and escalation of issues. It requires one year of full-time experience in policy or procedure development, data-entry proficiency, Microsoft Office skills, and knowledge of relevant employment laws; federal employment-program experience is a plus. The position is based in Austin, Texas, offers a monthly salary of $4,197.91 to $4,447.91, and may involve up to 25% travel within Texas.
