Description
The Program Specialist II performs moderately complex consultative and technical assistance work for the Career Schools and Colleges department of the Texas Workforce Commission. The role reviews statutes, rules, and policies; supports program planning, implementation, assessment, compliance, reporting, and policy development; analyzes operations and service delivery; and provides guidance to staff and external stakeholders. It requires one year of relevant public or private agency experience or equivalent TWC Program Specialist I or Program Supervisor I experience, offers a competitive starting salary of $4,197.91 to $4,447.91 per month, and involves up to 25% travel within Texas.
