The Texas Workforce Commission is hiring an internal Program Specialist for its Foreign Labor Certification department in Austin. The role provides complex consultative and technical assistance to employers, program staff, government agencies, workforce centers, and the public; interprets Department of Labor regulations; develops job postings; processes recruitment forms; handles compliance complaints; prepares performance reports; and supports training and policy inquiries. Applicants need at least one year and six months of relevant public- or private-agency experience, may use relevant academic credits, and must be Texas residents or willing to relocate to Texas. The position offers a competitive starting salary of $4,473.73 to $4,723.73 per month and medical insurance, among other benefits.
