Description
The Assistant Director supervises, trains, coaches, disciplines, and evaluates a group of staff and persons served in a program supporting people with intellectual and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities include attendance verification, staffing coordination, adaptive equipment referrals, incident documentation, crisis intervention, staff development, turnover reduction, program inspections, and compliance with DOL regulations. The role requires an associate degree, two years of supervisory experience, a flexible schedule, a car, and an acceptable driving record; a bachelor’s degree in a related area is preferred. The annual salary is $65,000, with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
