Description
The SMT Process Engineer will program and optimize surface-mount technology equipment, including pick-and-place, SPI, AOI, and mounting machines; set up feeders and nozzles; validate programs for new PCB designs; support production runs, troubleshooting, changeovers, and line balancing; analyze placement errors and component wastage; and collaborate with Production, Process, and Quality teams to improve yield and performance. The role requires a university degree in electronic or electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering, at least 3–5 years of process-engineering experience in a power-supply factory, and proficiency with Excel, Word, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and SAP, along with English and Bahasa Malaysia skills.
