Description
The World Food Programme is hiring a Programme Assistant SC 5 (Field) in Badulla, Sri Lanka, under a Service Contract. Reporting to the Programme Associate (Field Coordination), the role supports field implementation, monitoring, coordination, distributions, data collection and analysis, partner and government liaison, training, reporting, financial reconciliation, and emergency preparedness for WFP disaster resilience and assistance programmes. The position requires secondary school completion, fluency in the UN duty-station language and the local language where different, and five years of progressively responsible experience, including one year at the lower grade level; applicants must be Sri Lankan nationals.
