Description

Datacom is hiring a senior Programme Director to take sole strategic, commercial, and delivery accountability for a complex, high-value enterprise programme. The role leads programme vision, planning, governance, budgets, risks, resources, multi-vendor technical delivery, organisational change, executive stakeholder engagement, and mentoring of Programme Managers, while also supporting bids and future programme strategy. Candidates need extensive programme management experience in IT services, Agile and Waterfall delivery, commercial governance, risk management, executive communication, and recognised programme management and Agile certifications.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, or a related discipline (nice to have, not mandatory).
Required Previous Experiences: 15+ years of programme management experience in IT service environments.
10+ years managing complex programmes with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Leading large-scale programmes across complex multi-vendor environments, including dependencies, commercial relationships, governance, and outcomes.
Risk management, senior stakeholder engagement, and team leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications: PRINCE2, PMI, MSP, PgMP, PMP, or equivalent qualification.
PSM1, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification.
Certified Project Director or related qualification.
Scaled Agile, Lean, and Facilitation qualifications.
Executive and C-suite stakeholder influence with excellent written and verbal communication.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, or a related discipline.
