The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a Programme Policy Officer (Early Warning Analyst) to address the ongoing food security and nutrition crisis in Afghanistan. This role involves developing and implementing early warning strategies, conducting detailed analyses of food security and nutrition, and providing expert guidance to internal and external operations. The officer will manage a comprehensive early warning and GIS workstream, focusing on famine, disaster, and nutrition early warnings, and will contribute to optimizing geographical targeting and supporting anticipatory action systems.
