Kier is hiring a Capital Works Programmer for its Somerset team to plan and coordinate capital works across five depots, including Minehead, Wellington, Dunball, Glastonbury, and Yeovil. The role involves scheduling and allocating work, tracking programme progress, coordinating permits and network occupancy, ensuring compliance with Streetworks regulations, and monitoring performance. It requires a full driving licence, strong stakeholder communication, Microsoft Office and scheduling-system skills, organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams. The position offers 40 hours per week with some flexibility, and Kier does not offer certificates of sponsorship.
