Description
Operates and performs setup of complex components on various axis machines, generates setup instructions, ensures operators understand machining requirements, measures critical dimensions, edits Mastercam programs, analyzes and improves existing CNC programs, proof outs new programs, creates/edit G&M codes, runs measuring programs on Vision/CMM machines, assists in training, maintains a safe and clean environment, and occasionally operates manual mills/lathes. Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office, measuring tools like micrometers and calipers, and strong attention to detail. Desired skills include SolidWorks CAD, creating/certifying Mastercam programs, MillTurn experience with Mazak Integrex, familiarity with Esprit TNG Mill or MillTurn, and Renishaw probing.
