Description
Benchmark at Rye is hiring a full-time Programming/Activity Assistant to organize and implement resident-centered programs for elders and disabled individuals. The role leads one-on-one, small-group, and large-group activities, supports independent pursuits, monitors resident needs and behavior, communicates changes to the Harbor Care Director, and accompanies residents on excursions. Candidates must have a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience and knowledge of aging and disability issues, along with training in recreational activities and Alzheimer’s-related dementias. The position pays $18–$19.25 per hour and includes medical, vision, dental, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
