Description
The Programs Coordinator supports specialized law enforcement and correctional programs in the County Detention Center, including inmate care and security, program development and implementation, offender screening and referrals, recordkeeping, stakeholder coordination, program evaluation, and liaison work with healthcare, community, court, and other agencies. The role supervises specialized staff, monitors inmate participation, prepares reports and funding materials, and requires a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or social services, two years of relevant experience, a valid North Carolina driver’s license, and eligibility for detention officer certification.
