Description
BIG Construction is hiring a Project Accountant to support project accounting operations and the broader accounting function. The role partners with Project Managers and the accounting team to manage project billing, financial reporting, accounts receivable and payable, subcontractor payments, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, month-end close, and project closeout activities. The position is onsite in the Chicago office and requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline, 3–5 years of accounting experience, construction accounting software experience, and strong Excel and analytical skills. The salary is $65,000–$80,000.
