Description
The Project Accountant will oversee financial accounting across renewable energy development assets from early-stage development through construction and operations, while also supporting corporate accounting. Responsibilities include tracking development costs and capitalization, managing fixed assets, processing accounts payable, leading month-end and quarter-end close, preparing financial reporting and consolidated statements, performing reconciliations, managing project draws, supporting audits, and improving accounting processes. The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, and proficiency with U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, consolidations, Excel, and accounting systems.
