Description
The Project Accounting Manager serves as a player/coach, managing and coaching project accountants while performing project accounting work for contracts involving subcontractors and Time and Material billings. The role handles client invoicing, subcontractor and owner payments, contract and billing documentation, audits, month-end close, forecasting, and coordination with project management, subcontractors, and auditors. It reports to the CFO and requires at least ten years of accounting experience, six years of construction project accounting experience, an undergraduate degree in accounting or a relevant discipline, strong communication and management skills, and advanced Excel proficiency.
