Description
SSC Space is hiring a permanent, hybrid Project & Operations Manager for its Rockets & Balloons team, primarily based at Esrange Space Center in Kiruna, Sweden. The role leads rocket and stratospheric balloon campaigns across the full project lifecycle, manages international customer and partner relationships, coordinates launch operations and countdowns from the Operations Center, and serves as the final decision-maker during challenging launch situations. The position requires strong technical understanding, English proficiency, project management capability, relationship-building, teamwork, problem-solving, calmness under pressure, a driver's license, and access to a car. It includes normal 40-hour weeks plus campaign work outside normal hours, and requires approved pre-employment screening.
