RSP Architects in Fort Worth is looking for a Project Architect with strong BIM and AutoCAD skills, specifically experienced in constructing documentation for various commercial structures like structural steel-framed, tilt-wall concrete, insulated metal panels, and commercial masonry buildings. Responsibilities include collaborating with senior staff, researching and implementing building codes, preparing design drawings and specifications, integrating architectural elements with other systems, participating in technical discussions, submitting plans for approval, responding to feedback, understanding project financial aspects, conducting construction observations, and traveling to project sites as needed. The ideal candidate will have a registered architectural license, proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate hand sketching experience, advanced construction detailing and specification knowledge, and extensive building codes experience. Preference is given to those with experience in industrial warehouses and distribution facilities, particularly IMP Wall, Freezer, Cooler, or Cross-Dock Facilities, along with a minimum of six years of professional experience in an architecture firm and ten years of hands-on production experience.
