Description
Lufthansa Technik is seeking a Project Chief Engineer Structures to lead complex aircraft modification projects, identify technical issues, coordinate with customers and manufacturers, support development engineers on technical and regulatory matters, manage external engineering subcontracting, and coordinate STC implementation. The role also involves developing modifications under EASA 21J approval, initiating approvals, reviewing proposal packages, and assessing complex specifications. Candidates need an engineering degree, preferably in aerospace, mechanical, mechatronics, or industrial engineering, at least 3–5 years of relevant project and aircraft-structure experience, knowledge of development processes and airworthiness regulations, and German and English communication skills.
