Description
PowerSecure is hiring a Project Development Engineer to serve as the technical resource for the DI sales team during pre-sale project development, including scope, costing, application analysis, and client design intent. The role also supports post-sale projects as a system technical resource and project management team member, covering turn-key, equipment-only, and one-off specialty assignments. Responsibilities include developing concept drawings, analyzing commercial and industrial power systems, estimating, reviewing specifications and drawings, managing project scope and risk, coordinating with sales and engineering teams, and leading customer meetings. The position requires a relevant engineering degree, at least seven years of experience, strong CAD and power-systems knowledge, and the ability to travel less than 10% to client, vendor, job-site, and event locations.
