Description
TxDOT’s Bridge Division is hiring a Project Development Project Manager to work with bridge condition data and District and Division personnel to identify candidate bridge projects for replacement, major rehabilitation, or preventative maintenance. The role coordinates districts, consultants, and in-house design staff to develop projects that improve bridge conditions, and may include budget development, project eligibility and ranking, and project presentations. The position is based at TxDOT’s headquarters in South Austin and requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related science, four years of relevant engineering experience for the Transportation Engineer I level, and a professional engineering license.
