Description
Apex Clean Energy is hiring a Project Executive, externally titled Project Director, to provide senior leadership across multiple utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects from pre-construction through commissioning and commercial operation. Reporting to the Vice President of Construction, the role oversees project managers and construction teams, governs project performance, manages budgets, schedules, risks, procurement, contracts, permitting, and handoffs to asset management, and supports safety, quality, and operational readiness. The position is based primarily in the Charlottesville, Virginia headquarters with substantial travel to project sites and prefers an ideal home location in Virginia or Texas.
