Description
The Project Engineer works on-site within a construction department, reporting to the Project Superintendent and Project Manager. The role coordinates civil, architectural, structural, and MEP systems; interfaces with design professionals, clients, area managers, and subcontractors; manages meetings, submittals, RFIs, change documents, field layout, technical problem solving, and client training. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, plus a bachelor’s degree in an engineering, construction management, or architecture field or equivalent field experience, along with construction-document, survey, project-management-software, design-software, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. The position is fully site-based with locations varying by project and pays $78,000–$81,100 annually based on experience, plus a possible assignment adjustment.
