Description
The Project Engineer at Hawaii Water Service (part of California Water Service Group) is a journey-level engineering role based in Waikoloa, Hawaii, responsible for leading and performing routine capital improvement projects for water and sewer infrastructure from design through construction. The position works closely with engineers, operations staff, and regulatory/public agencies, conducts calculations and research, prepares project documents and reports, reviews submittals and bids, supports asset management and resource planning, and directs technicians, interns, and occasionally other engineers. The role requires a BS in Engineering or related field, experience delivering multiple capital projects, strong analytical and communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of asset management, CMMS, and GIS.
