Description
ABB is hiring a Substation Automation Engineer in Hyderabad, India, to act as a design authority for low- to medium-complexity substation automation projects. The role covers SCADA, PLC, RTU, HMI, and communication-system design and configuration; PLC program development and troubleshooting; hardware selection; project documentation; and remote testing, commissioning, and system-integration support. Candidates need an electrical engineering degree or diploma, at least 8 years of experience, and proficiency with ABB and Emerson automation platforms, IEC 61131-3 PLC programming, HMI and SCADA development, and LV/MV switchgear and network architecture.
