ABB is hiring a Project Engineer to serve as the design authority for software-focused industrial engineering projects. The role covers DCS/PLC control systems, IEC 61131 control software, industrial communication networks, troubleshooting, validation, installation, diagnostics, remote support, migrations, upgrades, customer engagement, and technical documentation. The position is hybrid and based in Grafton or Taupo, New Zealand, and requires an electrical or electronic engineering qualification, industrial control systems knowledge, industrial IT network knowledge, fieldbus and OPC experience, and advanced computer skills.
