Description
The Design Engineer will engineer manufactured products for bridge, highway, and heavy construction applications, developing designs supported by calculations and reports, reviewing contract plans and specifications, creating RFIs, coordinating with detailers and project stakeholders, evaluating as-built conditions, and providing customer supervision for product installation. The role requires 2–5 years of Design Engineer experience, a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, and strong knowledge of steel fabrication, contract documents, engineering calculations, and quality workflows; familiarity with DOT standards, ASTM specifications, and solid modeling software is preferred. The approximate pay range is $80,000–$95,000, with medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401(k) match.
