BKF is hiring a Project Engineer for its Salinas, California office to support land development and civil engineering projects, including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and public works developments. The role focuses on site development design, grading and drainage, utility systems, technical reports, specifications, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, permitting, and collaboration with internal teams, consultants, public agencies, and stakeholders. Applicants need at least three years of land development experience, a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; EIT certification is preferred.
