Description

Wilson is hiring an Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering / Project Engineer for a hybrid contract in Mahwah, New Jersey from July 22, 2026 through January 21, 2028. The role supports capital equipment and manufacturing improvement projects from concept through production release, including equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, validation, documentation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination. It is intended for recent engineering graduates or early-career engineers and requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 0–2 years of experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Required Previous Experiences: 0–2 years of engineering experience; internships and co-op experience will be considered
Preferred Qualifications: Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, engineering, project engineering, or project-based work
Team-based project experience through school projects, internships, co-ops, or extracurricular activities
Exposure to manufacturing processes, automation, robotics, or capital equipment
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles
Experience using Microsoft Project, Excel, or other project management tools
PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other project management-related certifications
Medical device industry experience
Exposure to equipment installation, FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification, or validation activities
