Description
CACI is hiring a full-time Project Engineer to lead the product introduction and lifecycle management of advanced optical communications terminals for space applications. The role combines systems-level technical problem-solving with cross-functional project leadership across optical, mechanical, electrical, and thermal subsystems, including manufacturing readiness, process development, production ramp, sustaining operations, troubleshooting, and operator training. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in engineering, at least five years of relevant product lifecycle or manufacturing engineering experience, proficiency with CAD, PLM, data analysis, tolerance analysis, and GD&T, and experience with precision manufacturing and aerospace or space environments. The position requires up to 10% travel within the Continental United States and offers a proposed salary range of $71,500 to $150,200.
