Description
The role is responsible for DCS system input analysis, IO assignment, subsystem interlocks, sequence programming, analog control, OVATION DCS software engineering, database, graphics, logic, testing, FAT/SAT support, troubleshooting, IFAT/FAT verification, site surveys, and commissioning. It requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related engineering field, familiarity with PLC or DCS systems such as OVATION, Siemens, or ABB, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and English proficiency. Relevant power-plant, renewable, or water-industry experience and DCS retrofit experience are preferred. The employer is Emerson and offers medical insurance and other benefits.
