Description

DOF Canada is hiring a Project Engineer to support offshore oil and gas and renewable subsea construction, installation, intervention, decommissioning, and related engineering initiatives. The role involves lift rigging and planning, equipment sea fastening design, installation analyses, project phase delivery, tendering support, HSEQ promotion, and collaboration with offshore and onshore teams. Offshore work is required, and the position may involve international requirements. Candidates need an applicable engineering degree, 3–7 years of subsea project or installation engineering experience, relevant testing and vessel mobilization experience, and knowledge of marine operations, subsea infrastructure, and applicable design codes.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science degree in an applicable engineering field, including Civil, Mechanical, Ocean and Naval Architecture, or Structural engineering, or equivalent
Required Previous Experiences: 3–7 years of subsea project or installation engineering experience
Supervision of equipment system integration and functionality testing
Project vessel mobilization and demobilization
Offshore installation and decommissioning of subsea infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications: Basic Survival Training (BST)
Specialized engineering software such as Ansys, Inventor, or Orcaflex
Lowering analysis and rigging design capabilities
