Downer’s Energy & Utilities business is hiring an experienced Project Engineer for its Power Systems team to support substation projects. Reporting to the Program Manager, the role coordinates site supervisors, crews, subcontractors and suppliers; develops construction methodologies and temporary works; reviews designs; manages schedules, costs, quality, contracts and project closeout; supports commercial and safety activities; and mentors Site Engineers. The position is offered on a 10 & 4 roster and requires a Bachelor of Engineering, at least four years of relevant experience, demonstrated project engineering experience, and experience managing subcontractors and construction activities.
