Gardner Builders is hiring an entry-level Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Illinois. The role coordinates schedules, documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement, contracts, drawings, permits, owner applications, meetings, and project closeout, and may serve as a project lead on smaller projects or support a Project Manager on larger ones. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 1–2 years of professional construction experience, analytical and organizational skills, drawing-reading ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools. The position is primarily office-based with occasional construction-site visits, pays $60,000–$95,000 annually plus a discretionary bonus, and offers health, dental, vision, HSA, retirement, and other benefits.
