Independence Construction is hiring a Project Engineer for its Columbus, Ohio construction team. The role supports project managers and superintendents across construction project coordination, contract compliance, scheduling, budgeting, drawings, change management, RFIs, submittals, payment applications, QA/QC, project closeout, punch lists, and warranty coordination. The position requires a bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, or equivalent education and experience, plus 1–3 years of related experience, strong communication and organizational skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, budgeting knowledge, and attention to detail.
