Description
The Project Engineer supports Lockheed Martin’s Future Payloads Portfolio by tracking procurement requests from initiation through completion, coordinating with engineering and supply chain teams, identifying approved vendors, preparing status reports, finding substitute parts, and ensuring procured hardware is captured in engineering parts lists. The role also coordinates engineering projects, reviews designs for compliance, approves design changes and releases, and resolves technical development and testing issues. It requires a final Top Secret security clearance, an engineering, finance, or relevant degree or equivalent experience, complex-program management capability, and experience in classified program environments.
