The Project Engineer at Posillico tracks and maintains records related to costs, deliveries, and payroll at the job site, as well as safety communications and manuals. Key responsibilities include preparing weekly safety talks, managing utility protection files, maintaining hazardous communication programs, conducting safety inspections, performing quantity reviews, entering daily quantities into systems, tracking work completion, reviewing estimates, maintaining various logs like shop drawing and delivery logs, accurately tracking material deliveries versus payments, inspecting received materials, processing payroll information, tracking subcontractors, submitting copies of logs to payroll, maintaining job records, tracking job codes, reviewing submittals for compliance, managing RFIs, assisting with purchasing job materials, reviewing project plans, performing field measurements, aiding in field surveys and layout, collaborating with the Project Manager and others to create work plan packages, developing project look-ahead schedules, and maintaining as-builts. The role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
