Description
The Contract Mechanical Power Uprate Project Engineer serves as an Owner’s Engineer for the Salem Power Uprate project, coordinating planning, design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and turnover of mechanical power modifications. The role provides technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams, manages configuration control and regulatory compliance, supports vendor and field engineering activities, and interfaces with operations, licensing, maintenance, and work management. It is a hybrid position primarily remote during planning and design, with travel to client and vendor sites and on-site presence during installation and commissioning. The role requires a relevant engineering degree, at least five years of nuclear power plant or related support vendor experience, documented nuclear engineering qualifications, and availability for shift work and federal nuclear facility access requirements.
