Vallourec is hiring a Project Engineer to lead mechanical engineering projects for large-scale steelmaking operations. The role covers the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, optimization, and capital-project execution of equipment such as furnaces, conveyors, rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, and pipe-threading equipment. Responsibilities include mechanical design and simulation, vendor and contractor coordination, cross-functional collaboration, safety and standards compliance, technology evaluation, and project cost and documentation support. The position is based in Houston, Texas, and requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, at least four years of mechanical or maintenance engineering experience in steelmaking or heavy manufacturing, CAD proficiency, and strong engineering and leadership skills.
