Description
Weatherford is seeking an engineering professional to lead engineering activities supporting manufacturing, testing, vendor management, quality management, and product support for Surface Pumping Units. The role involves coordinating manufacturing plans and layouts, using design-for-manufacturability techniques, updating CAD models, conducting root-cause analysis, reviewing nonconformance reports and field incidents, and collaborating with engineering, product, manufacturing, sales, and client teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or structural engineering or a similar discipline, 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience, fabrication and welding/machining knowledge, CAD and PTC Windchill proficiency, and experience with oilfield artificial-lift systems and field operations.
