Description
CoVolt Power is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design low-, high-, and extra-high-voltage power systems, with emphasis on transmission and distribution substations. The role leads a team of engineers and drafters, develops protection, control, SCADA, single-line, three-line, and DC diagrams, prepares equipment specifications and bills of material, coordinates with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, and reviews substation physical drawings and calculations. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or electrical power engineering, knowledge of applicable codes and standards, and at least five years of experience designing transmission-level substations, including experience with SEL or GE relays.
