The Fairfax County Department of Public Works and Environmental Services is hiring a Construction Manager to oversee all phases of construction contract administration for new construction and renovation projects in the Building Construction Branch. The role includes constructability reviews, budget and schedule oversight, bid and contract administration, contractor payment and change-order review, quality control, RFI and field-order coordination, claims mitigation, and project closeout. The position is based at the Government Center in Fairfax, Virginia, and requires a bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering or architectural field plus three years of progressively responsible professional experience, along with a valid driver's license and background checks.
