Description
The Project Engineer – Facility will serve as the client's owner-side representative for facility-side construction packages during the Buffer Prep / Buffer Hold brownfield expansion at ABL Barceloneta. The role oversees the General Contractor and subcontractors, coordinates permit-to-work and safety activities in an active 24/7 GMP facility, conducts walkdowns and inspections, supports design and submittal review, witnesses field testing, maintains as-built records, and assists with commissioning, qualification readiness, turnover, and startup. The position may cover facilities, utilities, mechanical, and electrical disciplines and requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, 3–7 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or industrial capital project experience, and familiarity with brownfield construction in an operating facility.
