Description
The Project Engineer performs engineering evaluations, technical calculations, design-document reviews, submittal and shop-drawing reviews, and coordination with architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors, clients, and designers of record. The role supports design-build projects, prepares statements of work, resolves design problems, develops plans and inspection reports, and manages multiple assignments. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline and at least two years of related experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and BIM, and occasional local, regional, interstate, and possibly international travel. The position is field and office-based, with 0–10% travel and physical requirements for moving heavy machinery and equipment.
