KWH Constructors, Inc. is hiring a full-time Project Engineer Level 1 to support steel erection projects in the San Francisco, California area. The role combines field and office work, including coordinating steel erection activities, reviewing shop drawings and specifications, tracking schedules and budgets, preparing cost reports, supporting estimates and design drawings, managing project closeout, and liaising with clients, owners, unions, and construction crews. The position requires 5–7 years of construction experience, a Civil or Construction Engineering degree, EIT registration, and knowledge of steel erection, crane and lifting operations, and construction standards; PE designation is preferred. Compensation is $105,000–$120,000 per year, with medical, dental, vision, paid leave, retirement contributions, and professional engineering designation support.
