Description
The Project Engineer serves as the technical source of information for a construction project, interpreting drawings, specifications, shop drawings, change orders, contracts, and purchase orders. The role develops procurement and project schedules, coordinates submittals, supports budgeting and cost control, maintains as-built documentation, participates in quantity takeoffs, and may supervise or train Field Engineers. It requires a construction-related degree or equivalent technical training, three to four years of similar construction engineering experience, strong communication and team-management skills, and the ability to work in a construction environment.
