Description
The Project Engineer serves as the technical source of information for a construction project, interpreting drawings, specifications, shop drawings, change orders, contracts, and purchase orders while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. The role develops procurement and project schedules, reviews submittals, supports budgeting and cost control, maintains as-built documentation, participates in quantity takeoffs, and may supervise or train Field Engineers. It requires a construction-related degree or equivalent technical training, three to four years of similar construction engineering experience, strong communication and team-management skills, and the ability to work in a construction environment.
