Description
PowerFlex is hiring a Project Engineer II to provide technical support during the detailed engineering and construction stages of commercial and small utility-scale solar PV projects. The role covers utility communication, design coordination, permitting and interconnection, vendor and procurement coordination, installation inspections, commissioning, project closeout, production analysis, and pre-contract due diligence. It is a hybrid position based in Mountain View, San Diego, Los Angeles, or New York, with approximately 95% office work and average weekly travel. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, at least two years of experience, and proficiency with Helioscope, AutoCAD, PVSyst, and Excel. Compensation is $90,360–$110,440 annually, with health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and potential bonus benefits.
